Reiki

Description

The word Reiki simply means Universal Energy and it is just that.. a gentle yet powerful healing technique developed in Japan by Dr Usui in the early 20th Century and has since been handed down, through various lineages, to the present day practitioners and teachers. Eastern medicine systems work with this energy, which flows through all living things and is vital to well being. The energy is known as ‘Ki’ in Japan, ‘Chi’ in China and Prana in India. Deeply relaxing, Reiki is also known as Therapeutic Touch and promotes healing on all levels. After many years of working with various healing modalities Julie began working with Reiki in the late 90’s. She became a Reiki Master in 2005 and since then has worked with groups and individuals, both giving private sessions and attuning others, enabling them to offer the benefits of Reiki to their own clients, friends and family.
